Frequently Asked Question

How do I delete a UEFI (BIOS) Password if I have forgotten it?

You can not remove a UEFI (BIOS) Password yourself, if you have forgotten it.

The notebook has to be returned to a Toshiba Authorized Reseller or Toshiba Authorized Service Provider who will remove the password as a chargeable service.

Note: In case password is known and you want to delete it, please access UEFI (BIOS) Setup utility instead or use Toshiba pre-installed password setup application to delete it. Details about how to that, can be found in the user's manual.
