Frequently Asked Question
FAQ6301EP000ER01

Why does my notebook lose 2 - 4% of Its battery power each time I switch the unit off and then back on again

    Answer:

It is normal for a notebook to lose between 2-4% battery power during a shut down/switch back on cycle.

Furthermore, the battery re-calibrates each time it returns from power off state. For this reason it can take up to 5 minutes until the battery life information is displayed correctly.
