How to activate the Trusted Platform Module in the BIOS Setup

Activating the Trusted Platform Module

  1.  While switching on the computer hold down the [F2] key.

  2. If you are asked to enter a password this must be the Supervisor password in order to gain access to the System Setup screen.

  3. In the BIOS Setup, navigate to the Security Tab with the Arrow Keys

  4. Use the arrow keys to navigate down to the TMP section

  5. Press "Enter" to open the Submenu

  6. Change from "Disabled" to "Enabled" with the Arrow Keys and press "Enter"

  7. Now, the TPM is enabled on your notebook

  8. Navigate to the Exit Tab with the Arrow Keys and select "Exit Saving Changes"

  9. Press "Y" To save the changes and close the BIOS Setup.

  10. The system will now reboot into the operating system.
