Disable the power save function for the Wireless LAN card, which allows the computer to turn off the device in power save mode and install the latest driver for your Wireless LAN card.

If your Wireless LAN card stops working, after plugging off the AC adapter, you can turn off the function, that the computer is not able to turn off the device in the power save mode anymore.

Before you change the settings, Toshiba recommends to visit where you should download and install the latest driver for your wireless LAN card.

To change this power setting, follow the instructions below (i.e. Broadcom Wireless LAN module):

  1. Click on "Start"

  2. Enter "Device Manager" into the Searchbox

  4. The device manager will open. Click on "Network adapters" and select your Wireless LAN card
    (i.e. Broadcom...)

  6. The Properties Window for your Adapter will open
